Our annual tournament is named after RubensteinTech's two most veteran volleyballers Andrew Tam and Mihir Patel. The plan was to go to Chelsea Piers for 3 hours, play a few matches, hit the gym, and then go out for some food and drinks. However, the night before the tournament was scheduled, a giant snowstorm hit, forcing us to postpone. After a brutally cold and snowy winter, we were desperate for some fun and excercise.

When the day finally came, we started by celebrating a project launch, and eating some lunch. We then grabbed our gear and made our way to the recreational center at Chelsea Piers.

First, we divided into two teams, each led by one of the tournament's namesakes. We played about seven matches during a span of two hours, and luckily, we emerged from the sands unscathed.

Next, we split up and explored the gym. It became a free for all; some ran track, others played basketball, or swam laps in the pool. For the final hour, we gathered by the weights and worked out the various muscle groups.

To cap off the night, we head out to the burger spot down the street for some much deserved nourishment.
