Experience management without the friction. Whew!

In the coming weeks, we’ll be releasing our report from the 2022 Legal Marketing Technology Study. (Please stay tuned for details!)

One of the key findings—which we won’t spoil here—is illustrated by the state of investment in Experience Management Systems (EMS). As with Proposal & Document Generation software, the focus of our July Spotlight on RubyLaw, EMS software is not wholly adopted across all segments of legal.

Based on our research, only when firms surpass $100 million in revenue do we begin to see greater usage of EMS software. For firms on both sides of this divide, failing to adopt EMS software can have real business implications—not to mention friction and the possibility of incorporating human error into manual matter management processes.

One solution, particularly for firms using RubyLaw Content to power their websites, is to activate the RubyLaw Experience module. RubyLaw Experience is an experience management database that integrates seamlessly with other back-end systems, i.e., Time & Billing software, and enables marketing and business development teams to surface and showcase credentials in real-time, flow relevant content into proposals, display them on the firm website, and manage them for recognition submissions, i.e., like Chambers rankings.

Consider two scenarios:

In the first, a prospect is visiting your website, and happens on a lawyer’s bio. This particular lawyer has recently, and successfully, represented a Fortune 500 company on a matter similar to the one currently facing the prospect who is visiting the website. In the absence of EMS software, this recent matter is stored on a spreadsheet and will not be added to the website until time and resources permit an audit and manual updates.

In the second, the firm is using RubyLaw Content to power the website in combination with RubyLaw Experience to manage matters. Here, the prospect happens on the lawyer’s bio and sees this relevant matter, which displays on the website in real-time once the matter enters RubyLaw Experience. Recognizing a matter that resonates and resembles the challenges facing the prospect, s/he reaches out to the lawyer to inquire about the firm’s services—a business development opportunity made possible by having the most current content available, on display, in real-time.

Eliminate friction and showcase your firm’s truest and most-recent qualifications with RubyLaw Experience.
